The one that's worked the best for me for severe acute dystonia from AP's was Benadryl 50mg 3x daily. The first treatment I had was 50mg IV in the ER for that, the pills were follow up for several days to stop the reaction. If I get to wigging out from anxiety that "feels" like akathisia I'll take Benadryl with my clonazepam and it works like a charm.
