paxil and noradrenaline

Posted by dondon on January 12, 2005, at 15:44:40

I am wondering about paxil because it is the only ssri that works for me. The mechanism of action is not only on serotonin reuptake here but paxil also inhibits the reuptake of noradrenaline (moderatly) and also blocks acetylcholine receptors(moderatly). Noradrenergic deficiency and acetylcholine hyperactivity cause depresstion and anxiety. Has anyone else pointed this out?
