how to avoid weight gain when stopping adderall

Does anyone have advice that they can suggest for someone who is slowly tapering off of adderall? I am weaning myself from adderall xr 10 mg a day and will continue to take Wellbutrin 300 mg/day
I have been taking adderall for inattentive ADD and augmentation of SSRIs for roughly 5 years, but am ready to try life without it. Is it always inevitable that weight gain will occur? I was planning on starting the Atkins program at the same time.
