Mirtazapine can cause restlessness. This is mainly a problem at high doses, low doses don't usually cause this side effect. Restless legs are particularly common.
Mirtazapine is thought to cause restlessness by acting as an alpha-2 antagonist. It might be a good idea to reduce your mirtazapine dose and try a different strategy to treat your depression.
