Not eating can affect periods, although I hadnt heard of it happening so quickly, after one week of poor eating. But it is logical if you think about it--if your body is starved, it (your body) doesnt make readying your uterus for conception its highest priority.
I actually just went through an opposite situation--after years of a regular period it came 10 days early twice in a row, and I had other irregularities. I was wondering in my case if it was the Cymbalta--thats when it started.
But I doubt it is something to worry over too much--our hormonal systems are quite snsitive to stress and other changes,usually ajusts shortly.
