Hello,
I'd be very cautious about trying Strattera. Other people on psycho-babble have reported feeling very depressed in response to NE reuptake inhibitors such as reboxetine and Strattera. It is possible that Strattera might be especially bad because it is metabolised to a substance which acts as a kappa opioid agonist and so might be expected to cause emotional distress.
It is impossible to be sure how a person will respond to any psychotropic drug so it's quite possible that you might like Strattera. Even so, please take care. If you do try Strattera start with a very low dose to 'test the water'. Perhaps your pdoc would be willing to prescribe a different drug instead of the Strattera.
Regards,
Ed.
