If by "SP" you mean social phobia, there is no question in my mind that clomipramine would work better. Clomipramine combines the moderate efficacy in social phobia of the SSRI's with the more emotion-boosting aspect(I can't think of the right word, I mean the opposite of numbing) of nortriptyline. I think clomipramine is probably better overall for anxiety, too. Nortriptyline has strong antipanic effects, but I don't find it strongly anxiolytic.
