i do not have PTSD and i do not ever remember hearing about a case in which a person was treated with Inderal (or another beta-blocker) immediately following a traumatic event, but i do think that could very well be at least somewhat effective in minimizing after-event symptoms/flashbacks. (i have no idea how it would be possible to test this sort of thing, though. oh well.)
However, i do seem to remember hearing about beta-blockers being quite helpful in some cases of PTSD. i have no sources to back this up, but, yeah.
