Paxil (Seroxat) augmented with Wellbutrin?

Posted by denise1904 on October 17, 2004, at 15:48:11

Hi,

Is anyone here taking Seroxat with Wellbutrin and can you point me to any studies/trials on it?

The reason I ask is that I'm in the UK and Wellbutrin is not prescribed here for depression but Zyban is for quitting smoking. I went to my doctors and asked him to prescribe me Zyban to quit smoking and he was reluctant to as he said there were interactions between Zyban and Seroxat (which I am taking) and told me to try patches first.

I now want to go back to my Doctor with a good argument and good literature for trying it with Serxoat, can anyone help me with this?

Denise
