Same with me, Jerry. The trouble hit a little below 37.5 mark. I went off of it very slowly. When the WD came, I went back up to the higher dosage (another 1/4 of a 37.5 mg. pill) for a night and then took the lower dosage for 2 or 3 nights. Then back to the higher dosage. I repeated this cycle about 3 times before going back to the lower dosage. This solved the problem completely. I can honestly say that I only had a couple of bad days in total (and they weren't that bad compared to what I've read here - no brain zaps or anything - just mostly extreme anxiety.)

If you're substituting either Prozac OR Cymbalta at the 75 mg. mark, and you decrease the Effexor slowly, you'll probably have minimal problems.
