According to data in "Clinical Advances in Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor Therapies", the half life of disappearance of MAO-A inhibition in the brain is 6 hours for moclobemide. The half life of the drug itself is listed as 1-3 hours. With half lives that short, I think you would want to take it twice a day to maintain more of a constant effect.Todd
