I am on a military base overseas and the doctors are very reluctant to perscribe me anything. They are all about group therapy and things of that nature. I have been diagnosed with manic depression, anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, and an anger disorder. Besides that I had a baby a month ago. I am going out of my mind and I have two kolonopins left (courtesy of my neighbor). And all the dr said was, benzos are like drinking. Is that true? SO to calm my panic attacks I should get drunk? That day i went home and got wasted (kind of dr's orders don't ya think?) and all that did was make me unable to take care of my baby!
OK here's another one, in the states do they perscribe anything for post partum depression? Can anxiety meds help with depression, like benzos. In the states my psychiatrist was discussing kolonopin with me, but then I found out i was preggo and got married and moved over seas with my husband . This was all so fast I never even got a chance to see him again. I want to try to get on that since he was the only psych. I ever really liked and trusted and that is what he thought would be best for me. So now how the heck do I tell the doctors that I want kolonopin with out looking like this is all a ploy to get drugs? I can't just go in and be like "hey I want kolonopin" and they don't have any of those medical records to even see that I saw a psychiatrist. Please help...
