I dont have any scientific info on lamictal. But I take it and have for about 6 months. As long as you dont have the "rash" (which i think you would have gotten with lithium also) then its a good drug. I have taken other mood stabelizers that had adverse side effects. But lamictal is great. I take 200mg daily by the way.
