I have been taking Cymbalta for over a month. It was only yesterday that I felt enough of an improvement to feel comfortable saying that it was unequivocal. Are you sure you gave it enough time?

I know what you mean about looking for hope. Here are a few things that I've had on my list of things to try. I don't think there are any true antidepressants soon to be approved. There is one antipsychotic I was interested in, but I can't remember the name of it. It was a partial DA agonist like Abilify.

- riluzole
- memantine
- acamprosate
- sibutramine
- mazindol
- milnacipran
- tramadol
- tianeptine
- Adderall
- buspirone
- pindolol
- aprepitant
- remacemide
- mifepristone
- ketoconazole
- metyrapone
- rTMS
