As I mentioned, I'm on Keppra at 750mg (250mg 3 times daily). My pdoc wanted me to go to 500mg twice daily and take 250mg midday if needed.

When I went to this dosing, I had road rage and was very irritable. She told me it couldn't be the meds but I have never in my life been that way and as soon as I dropped the dose and split it into 3 times daily, all was better.

So to answer your question, yes, it made me manic and I've never been manic before. One thing about Keppra that is in the PI and is true, it doesn't build up and the half life is definitly 6-8 hours. Taking it twice daily makes no sense because it's like a daily roller coaster ride if you do, at least it was for me.
