Risperdal can cause weight gain. You're taking a pretty small dose though. I take 1 mg. a day and haven't really gained weight from it. I'm bad about taking it though sometimes since I'm deathly afraid it will make me fat. I have noticed that when I take it, I am hungrier it seems. Abilify is the latest anti-psychotic and not tied as much to weight gain as the others.
