Well, technically, because I have a couple of herniated disks in my neck and some bone spurs and facet joint instability and nerve root impingement. All of which is very real and sometimes painful. However, when I get the pain pills, I have a lot of fun with them. (It's the only times in the last few years I've felt any real motivation or enjoyment of anything - hence the switch away from Effexor.)
