Hi Racer,
I am happy that your first few days of Cymbalta have not been a turn-off. I am also happy that you should have experienced such an immediate "blip" response. I feel that a short positive response to an antidepressant within the first 3 days is a good prognosticator of a long-term response to emerge weeks later.
My appetite has not increased. Food does taste better, though. For me, that's a good sign.
> Scott, I forget -- have you been on Effexor?Yes, and I had a partial response to it.
> The new pdoc calling Cymbalta "sort of Effexor Jr" makes me a bit hesitant to get my hopes up on it, but even though I only had a partial response to it, I did respond to Effexor.
I am encouraged for you that this drug will work. Like it or not, I said a few prayers for you.
:-)
