hello there, chemist here....your assertion is almost correct. methylphenidate - in addition to CNS stimulation in certain regions of the brain affected by amphetamine - does inhibit reuptake of dopamine. however, adderall - the d,l-amphetamine sulfate mixture - inhibits reuptake of both norepinephrine and dopamine while agonizing their release elsewhere. all the best, chemist
