I took paxil in my mid twentys, for social phobia. And it did help me make friends at work etc. but it changed my personality so much that my loved ones, didnt know who i was anymore..! And with the new info about teens on paxil, I'd be scared to put my daughter 15 on it if she were depressed because of the suicidal issues. But, I just wanted to say, that without CBT along with paxil, it wont work to actually change your personality. Once i stopped taking it (bad side effects) I went right back to being a hermit. I tried paxil again, recently and it didnt have that effect on me. My pdoc said sometimes if you have taken a drug before, it doesnt work the same again...
