It seems the general consensus with many people (me included) is that the medications are not target-specific, and so they take away the bad feelings, and unfortunatly, also the good.
The only med (SSRI) that didn't take away my emotions was Prozac, but it also gave me too much anxiety. Maybe it's about finding just the right dose & med combo for your particular chemistry. I have to think it's more of an art than a science, and so there is no magic formula.
