lamictal and binding to melanin in eyes..

Posted by Tendency on August 6, 2004, at 16:46:05

Just came across this article http://www.aafp.org/afp/980201ap/curry.html and what interested particularily by this line:

"Lamotrigine binds to melanin-containing tissues such as the iris of the eye, but the long-term effects of this binding and accumulation are unknown."

Anyone heard of this before? Comments? Thanks.
