>Your problem is rebound insomnia as Remeron is a powerfull antihistamine & traz isn't. To get yourself sleeping on traz only you are going to have to ween off of Remeron. Take 50mg of Traz as you use to & take half of your Remeron dosage for a few days & then a quarter for another few days.
Alternately, drop Remeron cold as you have done, take 50mg of traz & take a benzo sedative for a few days, Restoril or Halcion are good benzos for short term sleep problems. Restoril if you have trouble staying asleep, Halcion if you have trouble getting to sleep.
