Efforex withdrawal

Help
I have reduced my dose from 75mg slow release to 37.5mg slow release per day. This started 10 days ago. I am very tired, very tearful, a bit paranoid and getting suicidal thoughts. I was A1 on 75mg. Will the withdrawal symptoms stop or should I go back to the higher dose. Effexor has worked really well for me up to now but I hate taking medication if I don't need it. I know I should see my GP but can't face it.
