Klonopin and memory peoblems ??

Hello

I heard that Klonopin can induce Amnesia and cognitive impairment. I am not planing to take much Klonopin though (0.5 to 1.5mg/day). I don't have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, but I am planning to take it for social inhibition.

So at what dose does Klonopin affect cognitive/memory functioning?!

And is there a way to counteract those "side-effects" ?
