I'm not sure how effective it is for OCD...but I use it as a back up med if my depression or anxiety or general apathy get out of control.

My experience is positive with one caveat: I need to take Reminyl (an alzheimer's med) with it if I take it for more than a week. Stelazine must clobber my acetylcholine receptors because the boost of acetylcholine from reminyl takes away the one side-effect, a feeling my brain has been stuffed with cotton.

I've taken several anti-psychotics for depression and stelazine is the simplest and one of the best.
