Can Clonidine [CATAPRES] be used for anxiety/ADD?

Posted by Vanillintabaktöne on April 21, 2004, at 11:15:03

Is it as safe as the beta adrenergic antagonists like propanolol and nadolol?

Apart from the drowsiness associated with its use, and, from the little I have read, its seems to lack the orthostatic hypotension associated with the aforementioned, and is used for people who cannot tolerate beta antagonists. However, it can, on longterm use induce cardiovascular changes and drop Bp.........

Anyone had any experience with this drug?

I would really like to know?

Thanks Folks, and have a good one wherever you are!
