I am three weeks out from my last dose effexor and this is my second attempt at stopping the drug. My first attempt stopping failed because of improper weaning, this time I used prozac to help. I have not had any of the problems that I experienced previously while trying to stop. I feel as normal as I ever have thanks to prozac. I hope this post will help others that are trying deal with the effects of effexor. I was on the drug for a little over a year. John
