Just a note to those who question how long it takes for withdrawal symptoms to fade....it has been a bit over 2 weeks and I can honestly say I am not experiencing any more dizziness or general feeling of yuckiness. However, I might be different, but I was not taking any other meds, was only on 75mg of Effexor, and continued my exercise (running) throughout the "withdrawal".
It was worth it. The one thing I was not prepared for was the emotion I would feel. Good emotion....Like crying at the "right times"...I guess I was a bit numb on Effexor, but didn't really realize it.
Oh yeah, I'm down 2 pounds. That makes me feel even better. Hope I can work on it for good!
