Hi:
In my knowledge, this med.,Propranolol(beta blocker) is used for many different reasons, such as your case, 'Anxiety and panic,' for this reason, this med. might be better than official med., Anxiety med. 'Buspar.'
However, one MAIN thing you need to concern is this med., Propranolol can NOT be used with Lithium, because it makes terrible dizziness due to 'low blood pressure' effect.
