Valium (parent drug) is 20-100, 36-200 for the active metabolite desmethyldiazepam
ativan is 10-20
The wide variations in half-life are due to several factors including: duration of use, individual metabolism...also, benzodiazepines tend to accumulate in the fatty tissues of your body.
