I really like this meds, I felt good right after I took it every time, It make me feel calm ( emotionally ) and motiveted, plus able to concentate to read or do any house work. But last night, I was constantly wake up, after being able to back to sleep ,had lots of vivid dreams ( not bad dream though),then wake up again almost every hour. This morning since 6:00am , I was lay in bed , feel tired , don't feel like to get up until I took another 5mg Desipramine, I could get up 5 minutes later after I took my med.

My current psychotrist is at least very nice about to listen to me and ask me what meds I want to try.

I'm not sure that Desipramine would be good to take before bed as it is mostly an activating medicine. If you are very happy with it you could try it's mother drug, Imipramine. Imipramine is a little sedating & has a little serotonin activity, but best of all, it metabolizes into Desipramine, so then it is stimulating in the morning, when you need it. You could then take Desipramine as well in the morning, or you may not need it.
