It is like a visual flickering. Personally I think that it is a good sign.

Before I started antidepressants, whenever I would go jogging. I would jog for miles, and whenever I used to get into my 'zone' I would feel very good. Things started to make sence and answers to my problems would arise. At this point, if I closed my eyes I would see the same flickering. Infact I knew I was at that point in jogging when I could see the flickering.

I have the exact senesation when I wake up abrubptly in the middle of the night. I have a solution to my problem and the flickering is going on.

I think it is a good sign in that it indicated some kind of brain renmapping state.

I could be completely wrong but...
