> Xanax...which is an agonist at one of the GABA receptors. Alcohol enhances GABA, but in a different way. I read on biopsychiatry.com that they've done studies that prove alprazolam increases dopamine concentrations in the brain, in addition to serotonin. But again, it's a benzodiazepine...so personally I wouldn't recommend it.
