> DonnaHi Donna, When I take effexor I get a very euphoric mania. I'm assuming this is do to the neropinephrine effect it has. But if I'm not taking an antidepressant all I get is a depressive or anxious mania. I also have a social phobia that seems to go away when I'm in a euphoric state. Hypomania is the feeling I wish I could stay in because you do have some self control when your hypomanic. The problem is getting my self in this zone. Like I said the effexor makes me full-blown manic, so that takes me too far. I just need to find the perfect drug combo that will work. Right now I take lithium 600 mg a day and 30mg of paxil. I would like to try remaron. I think I read some where that you where taking this. I'm interested in its norepinephrine effect because this seems to be the neurotransmitter that makes me manic. I have also read that people with Social Phobia have a genetic problem with this neurotransmitter.
