chase9: I also just started effexor xr (well, about a month ago now). I had the same problems as you with the up and down cycle so my doctor eventually increased my dose to 225 mg/day -- though the only days I ever feel like myself (whatever that means) are those days that I take 300 mg...so..is increasing the dosage the best thing? Perhaps its only a temporary solution...let me know what your doctor says and I hope you feel better.
