The prescribing info for Wellbutrin XL under the Pharmacodynamics reads: Buproprion is a relatively weak inhibitor of the neuronal uptake of norepinephrine, SEROTONIN, and dopamine. I thought Wellbutrin had no effect on serotonin. Can anyone explain this? I thought people added an SSRI sometimes with Wellbutrin because it did nothing for serotonin.
