Hi Bluesfan...
Yup that sounds pretty much right out of the Lexapro textbook to me...Week 5 I felt depressed and sad..but the good news is that I have felt alot better since that week..(that was also the week of Christmas so that may have had something do with it..i notice i do much better when im in my regular routine)...just try and take it easy for the next few days and dont over exert yourself..you should be back to feeling good very soon..I had the same experience on Celexa right around the 5th week...where I kind of felt I was backsliding a bit..but thankfully went back on the upswing shortly after..I started Celexa in mid Feb 02..and I think I began to feel "normal" again probably around the end of April/beginning of May...with Lexapro I've kind of noticed the same thing..December was a difficult month adjusting to the med...January has been much better..and I hope Feb will continue to be better..
I did feel MUCH better in week 6
> Nick- I have been feeling so good the last couple of weeks, that I kind of forgot about what it was like to feel bad. The last couple of days I've appeared to hit bottom again, and it has been really tough. When I went back and counted the days I've been on the drug, it is day 33. It appears that I'm in the middle of the "week 5 blues", so that seems to explain a lot. I just wanted to know how long this lasted for you. Did it seem to improve greatly by week 6?
