Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that I am bipolar 1 and took 20 mg of Zyprexa for two years. The only side effect I had was weight gain, which was not responsive to diet or exercise.

As earlier posters mentioned, there are some weight neutral alternatives, such as Abilify and Geodon. Both of those drugs were developed specifically for schizophrenia.
