I've taken 300mg Effexor for almost 3 years now and yes, it's considered on the high end of dosaging, but a lot of people are at or near this dosage. Your aunt might be suffering from the effects of years of alcohol abuse, or could she be using again?, and the alcohol, mixed with the Effexor, be causing her strange behavior? I truly hope not, but it might be something to check into. Good luck.
