Yes, you can get rashes that are not SJS. Something like 1 in 10 get a rash on Lamictal. The incidence of SJS is very small. You are doing the right thing by seeing a dermatologist right away. Whether you want to give it another go after the rash clears up is something you'll hash out with your doctor and the dermaologist. If you do, you'll probably need a slower titration. Good luck.
