I have Borderline Personality Disorder. Please don't try to diagnose your wife, it is a much hated label to have. Take her to a psychiatrist who knows about BPD and let him make the diagnosis. If you want to ask me any questions about the disorder (personal or general) I would be happy to answer. Bless you.
Elle> While trying to understand my wife better, I came across this diagnosis. I about fell out of my chair because it fits her to a tee. Almost every aspect describes her.

> Anyone else have experiences and comments about this Borderline Personality Disorder Stuff. If you read about the Avoidant aspect, you can see that discussing or even bring it up make her worse. It also ties in with her being very reluctant to discuss her true feelings with her docs, or maybe even capable. Sometimes she lives in a different world and although the diagnosis helps with the description it seems like there is no way her situation will ever improve much.

> Oh well.
