Wheeeeeewwwwwwwww, after many weeks of waiting for the C-Pass, my insurance covered my Lex!!!
Woo hoooooo *kicking up heels* I am very, very lucky! I'm still on 10mg a day. Funny though, it's still 'all about the almighty dollar' LOL~~they will give me the 20mg tablets and I will cut them in half, of course~it's cheaper for the insurance company;)
Anyway, I am very relieved. I will be finishing up week 5 on Thursday and had only the second crying spell yesterday since starting Lex. I knew why I was very upset~family issues, me, my life, where I'm headed, wrongs I've done, (yes I admit it), but the crying didn't last~they were real tears, toxins and all.
Lexapro is helping me work through these feelings when they come without going into a hospital, getting suicidal, or *staying* in the feelings. My appetite is at a low, I am losing weight actually, if not maintaining it. The only side effects I seem to still experience at this point are shakiness (hands) in the morning when I wake up, still a little bit of insomnia, and mild headaches, but they are dissipating and are becoming less noticeable, hopefully as time goes on they will disappear.
I really, really like Lexapro and I hope that all those here that are on it are doing well~and good luck to us Lex users!!!!!
keep posting:-)
