I went to a psychiatrist because I have developed a phobia for flying on planes. I am not depressed but I am generally anxious and have a family history of anxiety. The Dr. gave me an Effexor XR starter kit but I was very apprehensive... I took the first dose and I now my feelings of hesitation were confirmed..the drug made me very agitated (I stayed in my bedroom away from my husband so I would not start to quarrel with him) and I very tired (almost sedated). Is this normal? I read the drug information but it was not helpful. I do not feel comfortable taking the second dose..
