> It made me MUCH worse. To me I was scratching a wound (the OCD). In my opinion words can't heal broken legs or broken brains (chemical imbalances) . Just my opinion.

I remembered that during my college years, when I was taking plenty of Vitamin C and Calcium supplements, I had a complete remission of OCD symptoms. I also read that calcium deficiency may be implicated in OCD.
So could nutritional deficiency be one of the causes of OCD? I highly suspect so.
