your very welcome, I noticed quite early on at 25mg 3x a day my appetite was decreasing. It decreased even faster as my dosage went higher. I noticed a big difference in the way my appetite changed. I didn't crave sweet things, sodas, ice cream, overeating at all. It all began just tasting different to me. I'm at 200mg a day right now after 2 months on Topamax and am now just getting used to not being so exhausted. I still am mellow-but not as nearly exhausted like I was in the beginning-not too long ago.
Hang in there and I hope it gives you some benefit. I really like Topamax. There are some side effects that I could do without but there are sided effects to every medication we take for our illnesses. If we are able to work with them and tolerate them to where we are comfortable, it's possible. What dose did you say you were on now? How long?
Good luck I hope you do well.

> thanks for reply. at approximately what dose did you notice a significant improvement in binge episodes and decrease in hunger? I think my dose is still too low to reap the real benefits of the medicine. also, about how long did it take for you to get used to med and be less exhausted? thanks in advance for your feedback. i am desp;erately trying to give thhis medicine a chance!
