> Thought I would get your opinion on this one. You know how I mentioned to you that I felt I needed the Zoloft back due to the anxiety/agitation. Well last night I couldn't sleep. I decided to take 15 mg. of Restoril. I woke up this morning feeling wonderful, rested and anxiety free. Could it really have that much daytime effect? Pdoc pulled me off this sleep med a few months back because I could sleep without it. I noticed today I feel much more rested and calm. Could this be all I need to add back? I want to avoid the Zoloft if possible.
UhOH, the big benzo controversy. I would like to get OFF my clonazepam to be honest (to help sleep). You DO get used to the stuff and it DOES start to mess with your sleep architecture. I remember when I first started taking it and was zonked big time and slept like a log. Now I take the same .5mg dose and have early morning awakenings. I doubled it to 1.0mg a couple of nights ago and STILL had an early morning awakening, but I went back to sleep fairly quickly and I felt similar to you (rested) the next day. Your pdoc probably had good reason to get you off the temazepam. THE TROUBLE is what to replace it with? I keep hearing Gabitril or Trazodone or something like that. Does't the Remeron provide sleep help for you ? I think you are still taking it right?
