The reason a liquid may be ideal is because there is no defined dose. Unlike a solid tablet, which gives you somebody else's idea of a daily dose, the liquid lets you use as little or as much as you want. You could take tiny amounts, spread out over the day. Moverover, liquids almost certainly avoid using salts that are poorly soluble, so you probably get a more highly bioavailable supplement, as well. No binders, either.
