That's odd. There is one MAOI (Moclobemide) which I thought was only available in Europe. I don't know what this Parnate combo is you mentioned, but Parnate always lifts me out of my depression pretty fast (though it eventually poops out on me). I would give that a try. If the side effects are too bad, you can always stop it. I also tried a combination of Effexor XR and Abilify, which also worked but also pooped out pretty fast. I don't know what is available to you, but if you're feeling suicidal you should definitely be trying different things. Even if something works and then poops out, at least you get some relief.
