I believe it resulted from both. I tried dieting for a month and working out 4x a week and didn't lose a pound. My metabolism definately slowed down but the weight gain probably came from the carb intake. I couldn't lose the weight for the life of me like I was use to being able to do.
I hope this side effect doesnt happen to you. Maybe at a lower dosage you will be fine
